Portugal Cove - St. Philip's
Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s amalgamated in 1992, and has
since rapidly grown to an estimated 6500 people in 2006. It
is one of the largest municipalities in Newfoundland and
Labrador, spreading over 56.43 square kilometers. It borders
the City of St. John’s on the east side, and the Town of Paradise
to the west. Most residents can reach major areas of the City and the
St. John’s International Airport in 10-15 minutes. In addition, the
Trans Canada Highway can be reached in only 5 minutes!
